The Deep Thinkers Club

A monthly gathering, for those seeking the Yoga off of the mat.

At one point in my yoga journey, I hit a wall.

I was flowing through hot, sweaty power classes five times a week. I tasted bliss at the end: collapsing into savasana, but the calm vanished the moment I left the studio.

Within minutes, I was back at my desk… jaw clenched, swearing at emails, rubbing my temples, watching the clock and counting down until 5 pm so I could escape back to the studio and do it all again.

My teachers kept saying, There’s so much more to yoga than what happens on the mat.”
But no one was telling me what that more actually was.

My practice felt trapped — locked inside a sun-lit studio. And I was desperate to learn how to carry that deep calm, that quiet joy, into real life.

That’s exactly what we explore inside The Deep Thinkers Club.

Yoga off the mat:

This is where yoga becomes something you live.

We explore:

  • Traditional yogic philosophy, translated for modern life

  • Meditation and breathwork that keep you calmer, longer

  • Transformational practices that deepen your connection to yourself — and to others

These are the pieces missing from most 60-minute vinyasa classes in Western studios.
The kind of magic that lets you lift calm out of the studio and place it directly into your life.

The Deep Thinkers Club

Each month brings a new theme, explored through:

  • Monthly in-person gatherings (last Tuesday evening of each month)

  • Optional live online sessions

  • Guided meditations to support your home practice

If you feel called to explore a deeper kind of Yoga - Yoga that has a magical ripple effect on your life, your relationships, your career, your mindset: I would love to guide you.

Who is this For?

The woman who goes to yoga to calm her anxious mind, but finds herself carrying the same tension back into her emails, her relationships, and her thoughts five minutes after leaving the studio

Those who long for deeper connection, yet often default to surface-level conversation because it feels easier, safer, or more socially appropriate.

The woman who has a yoga practice she loves, but senses there’s something missing — something beyond strength, sweat, and flexibility.

The student who is ready to practice yoga as a way of living, not just something they do on a mat.

It’s time now.

Let’s come together.

June's Magic -

You are NOT Your To Do List

Listen - I love a to-do list as much as the next person - let’s be real, I am the mum of a toddler, and I run a small business.  I need a list to get things done. I have noticed, though, that my self-worth seems to depend on how many things I check off.  Whether or not I get to rest for more than 10 minutes at lunch time is determined by a number of green ticks…The quality of the day is measured by my productivity…

Here is the uncomfortable truth -

If we base our self-worth on completing our to-do lists, we are attaching our happiness to an ever-moving goal post.

We are not in control of the results of our actions - and yet so many of us are pinning our quality of life on the outcome of our efforts.

Karma Yoga teaches us to do things a little differently - and, frankly, in today’s climate, it’s a refreshing rebellion: we are taught to release the results.  We are encouraged to dedicate our actions to a higher power, be that love, the universe itself, consciousness, or a deity.

We are guided toward realising our dharma (our duty and purpose) and flow through what runs through us naturally, rather than force our way through jobs that pay rent, but leave us feeling empty.

In June’s Deep Thinkers Club, we will explore what happens when you let go of your to-do list.  What is left when nothing is ticked off, and whether that is worthy of love, happiness, or rest.

Here’s the magic…

Once we start to let go of results, we show up differently.

Suddenly, we start the dream project, hearing the niggling fear of judgement, but not letting it hold us back.

We break at 3 pm, when we have been staring at a blank page, racking our minds for 30 minutes, because we know that a walk in the sunshine is the most productive thing we could do right now.

At the end of the day, we are able to be completely present with our families and enjoy dinner together, rather than lose ourselves mentally scrolling through the things we didn’t achieve that day.

Join me, and let’s discover what happens when we detach our worth from our to-do lists, and see how remarkable our potential can be when we are unafraid of failing. Let’s get back into the present, rather than the hypothetical future, and find the happiness that you have been reserving for later. xx
